graduated [B] filter 9.5/15 spread ±2.0 signals: 2 independent
What is this?
A post-signature evaluator tool for PMO, vendor-management, and implementation-governance teams overseeing multiple outsourced software deliveries at once. Instead of interrogating dense bids before signature, the operator records active vendor commitments from weekly status reports, milestone plans, RAID logs, change requests, and acceptance notes: promised dates, dependency clearances, client actions required, scope containment claims, testing readiness, and go-live conditions. AE runs an adversarial challenge loop against those live commitments and outputs a ranked drift watchlist showing which claims are most likely to fail through premise-conclusion severing, concession laundering, temporal blindness, or cosmetic confidence. The grading loop is operationally natural: within 1-6 weeks, the same commitments resolve via missed milestones, reopened defects, emergency change requests, SLA breaches, or acceptance disputes already captured in PMO records. Over time, the buyer builds a reality-graded vendor reliability ledger by workstream, supplier, and claim type. This is not project management software; it is a commitment stress-testing layer for teams that repeatedly evaluate external delivery claims across a portfolio.
Why did we consider it?
A commitment stress-testing layer for outsourced delivery governance is a credible, high-value niche because PMOs already hold the inputs and outcomes needed to prove predictive value quickly, and the resulting vendor reliability ledger becomes the moat.
What breaks?
- 'Watermelon Status' paradox: Vendor reports are politically sanitized, meaning AE will be analyzing fiction rather than ground-truth delivery data.
- InfoSec blockade: Enterprise security will not allow PMOs to manually upload sensitive vendor contracts and RAID logs to a solo developer's uncertified tool.
- Go-to-market mismatch: Enterprise PMO sales cycles take 9-18 months and require heavy relationship management, breaking the solo/part-time constraint.
What did we learn?
Engine verdict: GATHER_MORE_SIGNAL (WORTH_SKIMMING). Excellent AE fit, but artefact access and buyer authority remain unproven; run the shareability test before building anything.
Filter scores
Five axes, each scored 0-3. Three independent runs by different model perspectives. Median shown.
| Axis | What it measures |
|---|
| data moat | Does this product accumulate proprietary data that compounds? |
| 10x model test | Does a better model make this more valuable, or redundant? |
| fast feedback loops | Can outputs be graded against reality in <30 days? |
| solo founder feasible | Can a solo operator build and run this without a team? |
| AI providers cant eat it | Do hyperscalers have structural reasons NOT to build this? |
Composite median: 9.5 / 15. Graduation threshold: 9.0. IQR across runs: 2.0.
