exhausted [TRIANGULATED] signals: 1 independent
What is this?
A vendor-governance product for heads of talent using external search firms, focused on recruiter-level delivery commitments rather than per-candidate fit scoring. At search kickoff or weekly recruiter check-ins, the hiring team records a small set of explicit commitments for each firm: target shortlist date, compensation-band adherence, minimum brief-compliance rate, expected interview-pass ratio, offer-close realism, and 90-day retention expectation for hires from that search. AE stress-tests those commitments as falsifiable evaluator-side claims, then grades them against ATS and HRIS outcomes over the next 2-6 weeks. The output is a recruiter miss-pattern ledger showing which firms systematically overpromise, shift definitions, hide behind caveats, or repeatedly miss agreed thresholds. This is not generic ATS conversion reporting: it preserves the original promise, rationale, caveats, and later reality grade so the buyer can renegotiate terms, narrow requisitions, demote firms, or terminate weak agencies with evidence. Manual input is limited to a handful of commitments per search or per recruiter review, not every candidate submission.
Why did we consider it?
A recruiter commitment ledger is a credible, high-value wedge because it turns external search firm promises into auditable, reality-graded evidence that talent leaders can use to govern vendors, cut waste, and make better allocation decisions with minimal workflow change.
What breaks?
- Temporal mismatch: The AE's <24h feedback loop is entirely wasted on recruiting cycles that take weeks or months to resolve.
- GTM/Founder mismatch: Enterprise ATS integrations and InfoSec procurement cycles are fatal for a part-time, solo, introverted founder.
- False premise: Talent leaders tolerate bad agencies due to candidate scarcity, not a lack of performance data; a ledger doesn't solve the supply problem.
